Hi Sarah,

I wanted to let you know that Matthew Suib and Nadia Hironaka are opening a new show at Kim Light / Lightbox this Saturday from 6-9 that I've organized. You should come by to check it out. Actually, seeing it when there aren't lots of people around is better - they're showing a sound piece outside and an immersive video installation inside. They're in town through Tuesday if you want to meet up. Loved your review in Artforum for their show at Telic last summer.

Best,
Jenny Jaskey

Barry Harbaugh suggested I contact canopy etc. He thought it might be interested in using my photgraphs in it. I have lost the contact he gave me, so I apologize if this is not the proper route for contacting canopy.
If you would let me now the poroper way to proceed I would appreciate it.
regards,
Larry Merrill

This part is my favorite.

S: That sort of moment you’re talking about was one of two things that came to my mind upon seeing your work—that and the Gothic, maybe more so in the older work I’ve seen that seems to deal with doubling, surface and depth, and the homosocial. I wouldn’t call it male bonding, but there’s a kind of men-with-men, relating-to-men thing. I don’t know if it’s homoerotic. I see it as homosocial.
